About me
Hi! My name is Dirce Russo, I’m a designer and illustrator from Aveiro, Portugal.
I always have my sketchbook and pen by my side and I am interested in arts since very young age. During my childhood, my grandad always encouraged me to draw, he offered me notepads and with his huge imagination transformed my scribbles into something magic! The desire and joy for drawing did not fade away, I have draw everywhere I could, in books during classes, in random pieces of paper that were lost around the house, in canvas… Always exploring different materials and techniques.
The academic path was obvious. It started with Visual Arts in high school, followed by the Bachelor in Design and finally the Master degree in Product Design in the University of Aveiro.
Currently, I work as a designer and illustrator.
